It is so easy to not exercise in the Winter months, so you are not alone if you do. Though these months is when you should not slack on this at all. No hibernating, for starters, having the heating cranked up high makes you sleepy and less likely to move. If it’s too cold, this will make you want to eat more to keep warm. I am sure you know what happens when you keep doing this for days, weeks and a few months.
It is not that difficult, if you work out or any of you exercising at home, just keep doing it. Put on another layer of clothes if you must. If you belong to a gym, keep going, just wear a coat or jacket when going there, and maybe a sweatshirt in gym depending what temperature they keep it at.
Or you can do a very simple thing, bundle up, go outside and walk or jog. Really helps you if sun out, feels great.
The bottom line is just keep active and moving and do not hibernate, because come February or March you will wish you kept exercising. Other important thing in all of this is dress warmly and do not eat a lot of comfort foods. We didn’t even mention the Holiday season of eating?
